The Falcon 9 rocket is a reusable spacecraft developed by SpaceX, and it is designed to transport satellites and payloads into space.

The Falcon 9 booster launched the Starlink satellites ,previously launched satellites for two other missions: Space Development Agency's Tranche 0 mission and a previous Starlink mission.

The booster stage separated from the rest of the spacecraft shortly after launch and returned to Earth.

The booster stage landed on a drone ship called "Of Course I Still Love You" in the Pacific Ocean approximately 8 minutes and 40 seconds after launch.

The May 10 launch was the 28th Falcon 9 launch of the year for SpaceX.

In total, SpaceX has launched over 4,300 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit since 2019.

The company has obtained permission from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to deploy up to 12,000 Starlink satellites, which are designed to provide high-speed internet access to remote and underserved areas around the world.

SpaceX is currently seeking additional permission from the FCC to launch up to 30,000 more Starlink satellites in the future.
